Toothbrush
We advise you to keep an old brush in reserve in case you need to clean the joints between ceramic tiles, household appliances, joints, corners and other hard-to-reach places. The toothbrush does not take up much space, but it copes well with dirt.
If the white stitches have darkened, you can update them with ammonia (1 tablespoon to 2 liters of water), hydrogen peroxide solution (1: 2), or a paste of baking soda and bleach.
Scotch
If the special cleaning roller has run out, you can use a wide tape. It will help clean clothes and furniture from wool, as well as collect small fragments from broken dishes and mercury balls, which are unsafe to touch with your hands.
The sticky tape allows you to get rid of small debris on the keyboard: just slide it over the buttons - and all the debris will stick to the adhesive layer.
Spray bottle with vodka
The cheapest vodka, poured into a spray bottle, will help maintain hygienic cleanliness in the bathroom. While in the bathroom, for example, while brushing your teeth, you just need to spray on the mixer, door handles and mirror. The remaining drops should be wiped off with a clean, dry cloth - and the bathroom will shine clean.
Baking soda
Many specialized formulations designed for a particular surface or device are just marketing. Improvised means cope with pollution no worse - the price of soda is cheap, and the effect is amazing.
Diluted with water, it can cleanse grease from kitchen utensils and surfaces, add shine to plumbing fixtures, glass and jewelry, get rid of fridge odors, and help clean carpets.
Paper instead of a scoop
If you need to sweep off small debris from the floor, but there is no scoop at hand, plain paper for printing on a printer will help. The sheet moistened along the edge adheres tightly to the floor and allows you to sweep all the crumbs onto it. After all the small debris has been collected, the sheet just needs to be crumpled and discarded.
Cling film
In case of a minor blockage of the toilet, a film tightly wrapped around it in several layers will help. To create a vacuum, you need to fix it with tape, and then drain the water. The film will rise, air will collect inside. The resulting bubble must be pressed several times - it, like a plunger, will push out the blockage.
Useful sponge
If you wash dishes with soap, make a small incision in the foam sponge and hide the bar of soap there. Thus, the sponge will always lather under the influence of water. And if you make cuts in the form of squares, you can quickly and easily wash the grate.
Newspaper
The "grandmother's" remedy is still popular among housewives in everyday life. It is convenient to use newspaper to clean windows to a shine. It can also be used for waste disposal: being at the bottom of a bucket or bag, paper absorbs liquid and unpleasant odors. Newspaper can be used to cover the tops of kitchen cabinets: then corrosive dust in combination with fat does not have to be wiped off.
Window washer
An inexpensive window cleaner is perfect for cleaning plastic windows, which will significantly save time and help to do the job efficiently. Usually the device has two sides - the foam rubber washes the glass, and the rubber one collects water. The window cleaner does not leave streaks, it can be used for a shower cabin and mirrors.
Rag
To make cleaning easy and pleasant, you need to choose the right rag for the floor. Viscose is suitable for laminate and wood, cotton for linoleum, acrylic for polishing parquet. Microfiber is considered a versatile material and is suitable for any floor covering.
With a damp cloth on the mop, it is easy to remove dust and cobwebs on the ceiling. And in rainy weather, you can wrap the door mat in a wet rag: it will be better to wipe off the dirt from the soles.
The listed methods and means for cleaning are available to everyone, which means that they do not need to spend the family budget and worry about disposal in the event of a breakdown.
