Modern baroque in the interior of the living room is distinguished by stucco molding covered with a thin layer of gold or gold paint - this is how the palaces of the nobility were decorated mainly, where the interiors served to demonstrate the wealth and high position of their owners. Today, such chic is hardly appropriate, therefore, walls and stucco moldings are painted not only in a gold tone, but also in various other colors (for example, white, gray or pink).
An interesting technique when decorating a living room in the Baroque style is the use of fabric wallpaper. They are natural fabric glued to a paper or non-woven base. The fabric for such wallpaper is usually silk, linen, rayon or cotton, less often fibers such as cellulose are found. These are materials of a high price group, and are often used not for continuous pasting of walls, but for highlighting one or another part of them.
The center of the interior of the living room in the Baroque style can be a soft group - a sofa and armchairs. Velvet upholstery, “coach” on the backrests and smooth on the seats, delicate colors, decorative wooden baroque details, additions in the form of elaborately shaped pillows covered with shiny satin - all this gives the room luxury and chic.
A wardrobe stylized as an old sideboard will serve as a storage for dishes and souvenirs.
Such a complex style requires a complex approach even to simple things. The curtains on the windows do not consist of two, but of three layers - this is transparent tulle, thicker curtains, and on top of everything - heavy, magnificent curtains, similar to a theater curtain. They are ideally combined with furniture and stucco moldings, together forming a modern baroque style in the interior of the living room.
The final gloss of the living room is added with the help of unusual vases, decorative candles or graceful mirrors and frames from moldings.
