Types of structures
There are several types.
Sibling
Reliable, concise and simple models. One layer of gypsum board allows you to perfectly level the surface, hide unnecessary wires and embed any lighting. The most optimal option for a hall with low ceilings, since such structures create a calm interior without unnecessary decor.
Two-tier
They look pretty nice, easily fit into any design and add extra volume to the room.
Multilevel (3 or more levels)
Fancy forms of suspended structures made of plasterboard in three levels or more harmoniously complement any room and look extraordinarily luxurious in it. They create a sense of volume and spatial depth, and also allow you to zone the room.
The shapes and sizes of the living room
In many ways, the design of the ceiling will depend on the specific shape and size of the hall.
- Big. In such a living room, the design of the plasterboard ceiling can be very diverse.
- Small. Here, single-level planes with spotlights and ceiling spots, two-level or three-level figured structures made of plasterboard in the form of accents in different parts of the square will be appropriate, for example, place a hexagonal composition under a chandelier or arrange a complex ledge above a fireplace.
- Long and narrow. Various square shapes are suitable here, which visually expand the room.
- With a bay window. Decorating with a multi-level ceiling makes the hall more comfortable and allows you to highlight and play up the bay window space.
- Combined with a kitchen. The different design of the ceiling serves as a kind of visual partition and allows you to conditionally divide the room into two functional zones. Plasterboard structures create unusual zoning contours.

Conquer with their unique beauty. Patterned ceilings look incredibly attractive and help to avoid monotony and static in the living room.

The colors are chosen based on the design of the room and the apartment as a whole. They will look good, both in tone and painted in contrasting shades, they will significantly refresh the room and give it an original look.
Ideas for curly plasterboard ceilings
Plasterboard allows you to embody a variety of design ideas that will be harmoniously combined with the interior of any orientation.
