If necessary, finding the right pair will not be difficult. If your apartment does not have a mezzanine, you can use open shelving, or equip hanging shelves under the ceiling.

Outerwear made of leather and fur

In an attempt to protect leather and fur items from moths and a skin bug, do not pack them in vacuum bags. This storage method can keep pests away, but it will give your clothes an unpresentable look and musty smell.

Fur and leather items are packed in spacious covers made of natural fabric. This will allow the garment to breathe and eliminate unpleasant odors.

For leather jackets and raincoats, you need to choose soft hangers in size so that they do not deform under their weight.

Felt and fur hats

Fur hats, felt hats should not be kept open. Having cleaned and ventilated the hats, they are packed in special boxes.

These products cannot be stacked or rolled up... In order for the hats to retain their shape, they are stuffed with thick paper or old newspapers.

Using coat hangers correctly

To keep your outerwear in order, you shouldn't skimp on the purchase of hangers. The condition of the things stored in the closet depends on their quantity, quality and size. If you hang several sets of clothes on one hanger, then the lower tier will crumple, and maybe even deform.

Plus, the layered storage of dresses, shirts and suits does not allow them to breathe. In such a situation, clothes and cabinet walls are saturated with a stale smell. In addition, from time to time it is useful to get rid of old things that have become unfashionable or no longer fit in size.

Proper storage of knitted and crocheted garments

Thick knit sweaters and thinner knits store only folded... To do this, in any cabinet there are special shelves where they can be placed in a horizontal position. Or, neatly folded into a tube, vertically stacked in a chest of drawers.

If there is not enough space in the closet for knitted and woolen clothes, fabric shelves with comfortable, spacious shelves are used.They can be hung anywhere, such as on the bedroom door.

Perfect storage for trousers

Jeans do not need special storage devices. It is enough to fold them neatly and place them on one of the wardrobe shelves or in a chest of drawers.

But for classic cut suit trousers, you need to use a hanger. It is better if it is a special device with clothespins that clamp the bottom of the trousers along the entire width. In this form, these things are not threatened with deformation or severe bruising.

We remove warm linen, socks, mittens, gloves

Underwear, warm nightgowns, pajamas, woolen socks, gloves, mittens are put in order: washed and dried. Then large items are neatly folded and placed in a dresser drawer in stacks.

It is convenient to store socks, mittens and gloves in a special fabric organizer tab, where each item has its own cell.

Warm scarves, stoles, shawls

Cashmere or woolen scarves, shawls, stoles need a delicate wash. After things are put in perfect order, they can be sent for storage.

Thick knitted scarves and shawls are folded neatly and placed in wardrobes or dressers. Thin cashmere items are neatly hung on special brackets. They are usually found on the inside of wardrobes.

Fallback option

When there are more seasonal items than storage space, you need to use every possible option to unload the cabinets and hanger in the hallway. Tracksuits made from crease-resistant fabric can be stowed in bulky boxes or trunks.

And things that are not desirable to be folded or rolled can be hung on the rail. Of course, this design does not fit well into the interior of an apartment, especially a small one. However, if you have a small niche, then you can use this opportunity as well.
