Partition

Shelving or wardrobe

Delineate the room with a lung shelving - a typical way in domestic interiors. Products from metal, wood, laminated chipboard and MDF are used.The rack not only zoning the living room, but also acts as a place to store books, photographs, flower vases and decor. Via cabinets and shelving, you can create niches, highlight the necessary areas - work, nursery, reading or sleeping. This is the easiest and most inexpensive way to transform the interior and make it more comfortable.

For zoning small rooms, a pass-through rack is more suitable, and for spacious ones - with a blank back wall.

Curtains

Sofa and other furniture

Living room zoning can be carried out using an ordinary sofa: this is especially true for small rooms where there is no way to build a partition. A sofa, placed with its back to another functional area, copes with both the division of space and its main task.

Well suited for one-room apartments, but, unfortunately, does not have sound insulation properties and only slightly dims the light. The screen can be moved to any place, creating various scenarios of use. Folded requires storage space.

Visual zoning with color

Another way not to overload the living room is to carry out zoning with decoration. To differentiate, use a contrasting paint or wallpaper, creating a noticeable accent. You can also use different textures on the walls - decorative brick, wood, laminate.
