Master class of a basket of knitted yarn
Such a basket can store various little things: it turns out to be strong and roomy. A detailed description for beginners can be found in the video block.
Materials (edit)
What you need:
- Ribbon knitted yarn of any color suitable for the interior.
- Hook number 9.
- Needle.
- Scissors.
Step-by-step instruction
"Columns without a crochet" will be denoted by the abbreviation RLS, and "air loop" - by VP.
- We knit the bottom of the basket. Its base is an amigurumi ring (detailed video below). We tie the ring 6 RLS and 1 VP.
- We knit 2 sc in each loop of the previous row, and at the end we create a VP.
- We knit the third row. In its first loop we pass 1 sc, and in the second we do 2 sc. We finish the VP.
- We knit increases through 2 loops - 1 RLS, 1 RLS, an increase (we knit 2 RLS in one loop of the previous pigtail). We complete the VP.
- We make increases through 3 loops - 1 RLS, 1 RLS, 1 RLS, an increase. We finish the VP.
- We repeat the previous steps, but after 4 loops and finish with an air loop. The bottom of the basket is ready, move on to the sides.
- We pass the hook inside and pull out the loop, as in the photo:
- We make a circle of sc.
- We make the sidewalls with single crochet, inserting the hook into the center of the post.
- We finish the last row with connecting loops when the basket reaches the desired height. We hide the tails with a needle.
How to crochet a jute basket?
A needlewoman will need such a large basket with an openwork strapping to keep the threads and yarn, will fit perfectly into the bathroom and will hold towels or linen, and will also help to organize toys in the children's room.
Materials (edit)
For work, besides patience, you will need:
- Jute rope (twine, rope, or tourniquet will also work).
- A suitable sized hook or knitting needle (depending on the thickness of the rope).
- Cotton thread.
Step-by-step instruction
Let's start knitting and weaving:
- We knit air loops (30 pcs) and put the jute near the resulting row.
- We knit single crochet stitches through a jute cord.
- At each turn of the rope, add 3 single crochets. We knit the bottom to the end, until it becomes a suitable diameter.
- We pass to the sidewalls. An additional loop must be knitted in each corner.
- For the handles, we knit about 20 loops without knitting through the air loops of the bottom row.
- We fix the edge of the rope with several posts.
- The basket is ready!
How to make a basket from a cord with your own hands?
A lightweight crocheted basket made of cotton cord is suitable for various little things, and thanks to the handles it is convenient to carry it with you.
Material
The text for a section can be either short or several paragraphs.
- Cotton cord.
- Crochet hook.
- Needle.
- Scissors.
Step by step guide
Let's start knitting:
- Making an amigurumi ring:
- We knit 7 half-crochets and connect them with an eighth loop.
- We tighten the ring.
- We knit loops in a circle, there should be 16 of them in total.
- We make increments in one row: after the air loop we alternate the single crochet, that is, we knit one "half-column", then two, repeat until the end of the braid. We build up the bottom of the desired size.
- We proceed to the walls of the basket. To do this, knit with a single crochet under each loop of the previous row. We repeat in a circle to the desired height.
- To change the color of the basket, we knit single crochet posts with a new cord.
- We make the handle with 7 air loops and continue to knit in a circle.

Photo of knitted baskets in the interior
Crocheted baskets will not only decorate the interior, but also come in handy on the farm. In the bathroom, they can store cosmetics, cotton pads and sticks, and the product, complemented by a lid, will bring even more order to the atmosphere. The basket with a handle can be hung on the toilet door and hidden inside the toilet paper. And in the nursery, a large basket will easily fit your favorite toys.
Crochet baskets will find their way into the kitchen and living room. You can put flowers in them, keep magazines or books close at hand. Plus, the thick knit yarn makes it easy to knit a cozy pet nest.
