Unused shoes
Every time we enter the hallway, we come across shoes scattered around the door. Well, well, not scattered, but neatly set. This does not change the essence. A large number of all kinds of shoes not only takes away useful space, but also gives the hallway a sloppy look. therefore first of all, we start sorting shoes and decide what to do with it:
- if, for example, you notice that the shoes are outdated, become small or have lost their appearance, then part with them without regret, since you will not wear them anyway;
- shoes for which the season has not yet come can be folded into a box and put away on the mezzanine, or on the upper shelves of the cabinet;
- you also need to remove shoes that you rarely wear;
- For slippers, you can purchase a vertical organizer that can be hung in some inconspicuous corner. So your sneakers will always be in one place, and not scattered all over the house;
- old and torn slippers that you usually give to guests should go straight to the trash, and instead get disposable ones;
- for shoes that you wear constantly, buy a special shoe rack... This narrow cabinet will finally solve the problem of orphan shoes and add aesthetics to the hallway.
Invoices and receipts
Sometimes one gets the impression that waste paper collection points have migrated to the corridors to the people. This is not surprising, because every day we pick up a wide variety of paper products from the mailbox.
Advertising brochures, newspapers, notices and, of course, receipts are stored in some inconspicuous corner of the console table or on the nightstand. Over time, they turn into real rubble. To put things in order among the papers, do the following:
- Get in the habit of getting rid of unnecessary papers right away. For example, put a special basket or a small, pretty bucket in which you can put receipts and flyers. So you will save your bag from unnecessary paper waste already at the entrance to the apartment;
- it is best to allocate a separate box for important papers;
- receipts for payment of bills have long been made in electronic form. You can always find them in the consumer's personal account or ask service providers to send you receipts by e-mail.
Handbags
Bags around the house are a special topic! Count how many handbags you personally own, including all kinds of clutches you bought for going to the theater, braided beach bags, and "that little backpack that looks so good with these sneakers." Have you counted? And these are only women's bags, but there are also things of other household members, for example, school backpacks and the like.
In order not to clutter up the hallway, it is necessary to organize a special storage place for bags, and this does not have to be a corridor.They can be stored anywhere, for example:
- on the loggia, after folding it into a box;
- in the mezzanine;
- and even in a wardrobe.
Main condition Is always putting bags back in place, not throwing on pouf or leave it on the nightstand.
Hats and scarves
With the onset of cold weather in small hallway becomes even tighter. Hats and gloves, indiscriminately dumped on the nightstand or scarves hanging from all the hooks, clearly do not add aesthetics to the room.
Best of all, of course think over the storage of these things in advance... For example:
- to build special organizers for winter "accessories";
- put them in containers and put away in the closet.
Organizers can be signed, and then each household will have an incentive to keep things in order, and not to shake out the whole box in search of his own hat.
In general, the more items are hidden behind closed doors, the more spacious and tidier the room looks. Also, get into the habit of - conduct an audit of all your belongings before each season... Perhaps many hats no longer suit you, the mittens are pretty worn out and consist of only pellets, and a moth ate your favorite scarf.
Footwear products
Do you think the list of "unnecessary things" is over here? But no. Take a look at the shelf and you will see a variety of tubes, jars of shoe polish, and leather care products that no one has used for several years.
Take a look hallway decoration ideas in Khrushchev.
Cream is a different story altogether. As you know, the cream dries up very quickly and, accordingly, becomes unusable. But instead of just throwing it away, we push it further into the corner (in the hope of ever reviving it), and we run to buy a new one.
In general, over time, a huge amount of old creams accumulates on the shelf. Therefore, always do periodic cleaning, and check the expiration dates of the shoe products. If the cream is expired, then ruthlessly get rid of it. The same goes for old brushes and sponges.
Sloppy rug
The rug in the hallway is a visiting card of any home. And if it is an old or dirty rug, then the impression of you will not be very good. And you yourself will be unpleasant even to touch it.
therefore either keep the mat in perfect condition, or throw it away... By the way, to make the rug look decent, you can use some tricks:
- buy a rug of a dark color, so dirt will be less visible on it;
- choose a material that absorbs moisture well;
- choose the right size of the rug so that the corridor does not seem small or narrow.
Hair accessories
Various hairpins and rubber bands, as well as combs and other equally important items, should always have their place. Scattered here and there, they not only clutter up the hallway, but also waste your nerves when you once again try to find the thing you need among a pile of various rubbish.
Another bad solution for a small hallway would be to hang jewelry and accessories in plain sight. Since even if they hang neatly, it will still not look aesthetically pleasing in a small room.
Pet accessories
If you have a pet living at home, for example a dog, then for sure there is nowhere to go in the hallway from various leashes, harnesses and similar paraphernalia.

To ensure that the things of your beloved pet are always "at hand", but at the same time do not clutter up the hallway, you can purchase a special plastic container with a lid for them.
Boxes
Many people still use shoeboxes. It is believed that it is convenient to store shoes in them until the next season. In addition to shoe boxes, boxes from household appliances are also used.All this is certainly not bad, but you need to understand that such methods are categorically not suitable for miniature hallways, in which, in addition to volumetric boxes, there is nowhere to turn around.
It is much more productive to store shoes and other things in the compartments of the closets. This way they will take up much less space.
Trinkets
In addition to the really necessary items, very often you can find various little things in the hallway. Any buttons, beads, laces, paper clips or a key lost by someone will surely gather dust on the shelves or lie in some vase.
Finally admit to yourself that no one will ever take these things apart or use them. Therefore, feel free to carry them to the trash.
The same should be done with broken things, for example, umbrellas, which have been wandering from one corner to another for several years, waiting for their master.
Summing up all of the above, I would like to note once again - get rid of unnecessary things! They will no longer be useful, but their absence will create a sense of order in your hallway.
