To increase work surface, you can purchase a presentable and practical two-burner hob with a width of only 30 cm. It can be installed in two positions.

We look into the refrigerator

Live alone or don't have the habit of stocking up on food for a week? It is worth replacing an ordinary bulky refrigerator with built-in or even a single chamber model. Such products fit into a curbstone and are masked by facades - for a compact kitchen, this is an excellent option that frees up a lot of space.

If necessary, the freezer can be placed outside the kitchen, as it is required much less frequently than the refrigerator.

We are looking for a mini-microwave

In order not to occupy the countertop or window sill, you should take the microwave oven to a special shelf in the cabinet or a bracket on the wall. A compact model with a volume of about 20 liters is ideal for this purpose.

Such products are small in size, so they are built in where an ordinary microwave oven will not stand, while remaining roomy. In terms of its functional qualities, the mini-oven is in no way inferior to its "older sister".

We use the windowsill

If you improve the window opening and extend the table top, the window sill can become an additional workplace and dining table. The resulting usable area is easy to use for storing a coffee maker or blender. If under the window is provided old "cold cupboard", it is worth converting it to a narrow washing machine.

It is important to foresee all the sockets in advance so as not to spoil the interior with extension cables.

Add wardrobes

For those who cook a lot, a second row of wall cabinets should be placed in a small kitchen directly under the ceiling. We recommend that you transfer all the kitchen utensils stored below, and remove small household appliances that are used once a week or less to the uppermost tier.

The technique will allow you to free cabinets for built-in appliances, for example, a small dishwasher.

Think outside the box

Use the space that seems unusual to accommodate the technique. If an oven is required, position it at waist or chest level. The microwave can be placed under the worktop, and the refrigerator can be built above the washing machine.

In case of a catastrophic lack of space, the refrigerator should be taken outside the kitchen - for example, into the corridor. If you are determined, implement the redevelopment by combining kitchen with living room or balcony... Another option is to create a niche for the refrigerator in the interior partition (which also needs to be coordinated).

Even with the small size of the kitchen, you should not give up functional "household helpers". To fit everything you need, it is important to connect your imagination and arm yourself with the ideas of professionals.
