general information
The area of the Moscow apartment is 65 sq.m. Its owner, a young entrepreneur, gave the designer Evgenia Razuvaeva a clear task: to decorate the environment in an industrial style. In all other respects, he gave her complete freedom of action.
Layout
The two-room stalinka does not fully meet the loft style, because the industrial interior is distinguished not only by rough textures, but also by free space, as well as large windows. Therefore, the designer kept the ceiling height as much as possible and combined the kitchen with the room. In addition to the kitchen-living room, the apartment has two dressing rooms, an office and a bedroom.
Hallway with dressing room
The entire interior is decorated in white with the addition of contrasting graphite elements and natural wood texture.
The main detail of the hallway - open wiring - allowed to preserve the height of the ceilings and became an original decoration of the interior.
Behind the sliding doors is a dressing room that compensates for the lack of hangers in the entrance area.
Kitchen-living room
Black pipes are another feature of the apartment. They decorate the cooking area, act as shelf holders, serve as supports in the dressing room and decorate the bathroom.
The apartment has an amazing combination of modern furniture and old elements: the shelves are made of barn boards, and the frame of the mirror in the corridor is made of driftwood.
An island is located in the center of the spacious kitchen-living room, which acts as an additional countertop and a bar counter. All appliances, except for the hood, are built-in. The landlord loves to cook and gather friends.
The loft theme is supported by an accent wall made of authentic brickwork. To achieve such a relief, the walls had to be completely cleaned of wallpaper, plaster and mortar between the bricks, a new composition was applied and varnished.
The living area has a black corner sofa with a TV opposite. Initially, the designer offered an engineered flooring as a flooring, but due to the presence of pets, they had to opt for a more durable vinyl floor.
Bedroom
The small bright sleeping room has a double bed and a chest of drawers with a TV. Part of the area was allocated for a second dressing room. In a niche next to the bedside table, the designer placed an old staircase - here the landlord hangs his trousers.
Bathroom
Evgenia is especially proud of the designer switches: the radio toggle switches, which were hardly found at the flea market, are decorated with frames made of black metal. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a huge mirror and many open shelves.
The heated towel rail is made of the same pipes that are found everywhere in the interior. The table top is made of elm slab and the shells are made of natural stone.
The designer of this interior breathed new life into the former Stalinist era. The furnishings are authentic, comfortable and take on a character of their own.
