DIY sun mirror decoration

To create a bright accent in the room, give it individuality, you can use such a popular design technique as mirror decoration... Use a small round mirror to create an expressive composition DIY sun mirror.

Such decoration can look different, depending on what exactly is used for decorating mirrors... If you take bamboo sticks, the shape will turn out to be fancy, Chinese sticks or wood skewers for making barbecue will give a more strict shape.

Necessary materials:

• round mirror,
• bamboo curtain,
• universal glue,
• aerosol paint can,
• masking tape,
• suspension,
• scissors, protractor.

Sequence of work:

• For the manufacture of DIY sun mirrors first, free the purchased mirror from the stand. To make a base, place a mirror on a piece of cardboard, trace and cut out a circle with scissors.

• Take a protractor and divide the circle into sectors. There should be 24 of them, 15 degrees in each. The number of sectors can be changed according to your wishes. When decorating a mirror sticks will need to be glued to these lines.

• Disassemble the bamboo curtain into separate sticks. Attach the longest ones with glue to the marked lines, and the rest between them in random order. Adjust the length of the sticks to your liking.

• Mirror decoration almost over. It remains to glue it to the base and paint it. Use an all-purpose adhesive to bond the base to the mirror.

• The final stage of manufacturing DIY sun mirrors - staining. The color is selected depending on the interior. Construction tape is useful to seal the surface of the mirror to protect it from paint.

• Attach the hanger and hang the mirror on the wall.
