Cozy mobile home
This compact trailer house designed by the owners themselves - a young creative couple who had no experience in construction. It is environmentally friendly, beautiful and one of the best examples of a functional country house.
Before the construction, the owners drew it in 3d, thinking over every centimeter to the smallest detail.
On the ground floor there is living area: instead of sofas there are chests with a lid and soft pillows. The folding table under the TV can be removed at any time to make room for movement. At the far end equipped corner kitchen, restroom and shower, where a wooden barrel plays the role of a pallet.
The bed is located on the mezzanine under the roof - so it does not take up space on the ground floor. The walls and the floor are insulated near the house, inside it is sheathed with clapboard, outside - with siding. It took 7 months to build.
House near Minsk
The inhabitants of this house - a family with two children - live in the summer cottage village not only in summer. Living area - 34 sq. m, a toilet with a bath - 15 sq.m. The hostess Tatiana, being pregnant with her second child, realized the idea of the house on her own, drawing drawings and hiring a builder.
Frame building made of spruce and pine, it has two floors - the lower one is an open space with a kitchen, dining room and bedroom-living room where parents sleep, and the upper tier belongs to the eldest son. While he spends little time there, the owner has arranged a study here.
Huge panoramic windows allow you to admire the forest. They are energy efficient as they let in sunlight but do not release heat. The owners turn on the heating only in the evening.
The walls are covered with semi-gloss white paint, and the floor is covered with white stain and varnish. From the facade to the house adjoins terrace measuring 6.5x2.2 m, where the family often spends time. According to Tatiana, she and her husband did not expect that they would like to live outside the city so much.
House from the garage
The technical building with an area of only 23 square meters became residential thanks to the creative approach of its owner, the artist Michelle, who lost her job and could not pay the mortgage on the house. She rented it out, and she herself settled in a former garage.
The walls are painted white, all miniature furniture, including the couch, has thin legs, making the room seem more spacious. A seating area is located along the short wall, a fireplace is placed to the left of it, and on the contrary, there is a kitchen.
The bed is placed under the ceiling - its height was slightly increased during the renovation of the garage. The most difficult thing for Michelle was the construction of an extension for the bathroom.
The back of the fireplace is made of old bricks obtained after dismantling the chimney.
House in the Moscow region
A young family of two with children and a dog became the owners of a small house with an area of only 18 square meters. Here they spend weekends, including in winter.
In summer, the terrace surrounding the house becomes the main pastime. The roof space is used rationally thanks to inclined supports - if they stood upright, the terrace would seem too narrow.
To keep warm in winter and the room heats up quickly, the owners installed an economical electric convector in the form of a fireplace. It consumes only 1 kW and does not allow the house to freeze.
Brick walls with internal air chambers and a small area of the room allow you to warm up the house as quickly as possible.
In the hot summer, the house maintains an optimal temperature thanks to the lianas of actinidia kolomikta growing on the terrace. The inner walls of the room are lined with clapboard, there is a practical linoleum on the floor.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining area, sofa and TV. The second tier plays the role of a nursery.
Minimalist house
Ethan started living in a trailer at age 26, when he realized that he hated his office job, but dreamed of his own business and travel. He cut his expenses by moving out of his rented apartment, distributing a lot of unnecessary things and setting up a house on his relative's land.
The building area is almost 19 sq.m. The plumbing in the house is connected to the sewer, and the wires connect the house to the garage and provide it with electricity.
Large sealed windows keep the trailer warm without wasting heat. To the left of the entrance there is a soft sofa with drawers for things, on the contrary there is a folding table. A mobile staircase leads to the second tier: at the top there is not only a bed, but also wardrobes. Beneath them there is a small kitchen with a fridge and a sink.
The walls are lined with white pine planks. It took one year and three months to build and improve the house. Now Ethan is more selective about things, not buying anything extra.
Summer house from the change house
The owner of the building, Aida Beglova from St. Petersburg, lives here with her family during the construction of the main house. The area of the building shed, which served as the basis for the house, is only 14 sq. M.
The hostess created a comfortable layout for living on 10 square meters, and the rest of the space was allocated to the utility block for tools and a veranda for evening tea parties.
The background for the numerous decor is White color... The entire interior is designed in scandinavian style with boho elements. There was a place in the room for a homemade bunk bed, a kitchen and a table.
The furnishings look spectacular and stylish, although Aida saves as much as possible on furniture, decoration and decor.
House of a fashion designer
This cottage belongs to the elderly couple Gudrun Schöden and her husband. Here, surrounded by nature, a woman spends her weekends and draws inspiration for her collections. The construction dates back to 1897 - before it was a fishing house, which had no water or electricity.
The bright interior was created by Gudrun herself. With the help of paints, she wanted to highlight the richness of patterns and colors inherited from Swedish culture. Saturated hues in Sweden were once used by the rural population because the bourgeoisie favored more neutral tones.
The woman managed to create a unique design by combining patterns and ornaments on walls, furniture, dishes and textiles.
Small houses have their own charm: they breathe comfort and do not suffer from redundancy. Thanks to the thoughtful interior, the space becomes comfortable and functional.
