Too expensive
The average cost of a dishwasher is 20 thousand rubles, but prices start from 11 thousand rubles, so if you wish, you can find a device for little money. In return, you will get more free time, which will more than pay off in the future.
The owners of the dishwasher note that after its appearance, much less effort is spent on housekeeping, and disputes about who to wash the dishes disappear.
Uneconomical
Contrary to popular belief, a dishwasher does not increase, but reduces water costs. If you manually wash the amount of dishes that can fit in the dishwasher, you will use 5 times more water.
The cost of paying utility bills will decrease, since the equipment uses only cold water.
Too hard
Everyone can easily master the loading and start-up of the device - just read the instructions. The first start-up must be done in idle mode in order to check the connection and wash off the remnants of the factory dust.
The dishes should be loaded according to certain rules:
- in the lower part, at a distance from each other, large objects are usually located (pots, pans, plates);
- and in the upper tray - smaller ones (cups, saucers, cutlery);
- the dishes must first be freed from food debris;
- after selecting the mode, it remains only to press the button and wait for the end of the wash.
Not for small sizes
If you are the owner small kitchen, do not deny yourself an automatic dishwasher: in addition to full-size units, modern manufacturers also produce narrow machines with a width of about 45 cm.
They are designed for families with 2-3 children and can hold up to 10 place settings. In terms of depth and height, they do not differ from ordinary ones. There are also even more compact, almost square devices: their depth, height and width are about 50 cm. Suitable for singles and small families.
Requires special care
Compared to how long it takes to rinse and clean the sink after washing the dishes by hand, caring for the typewriter isn't too much of a hassle.
This requires a special cleaner, which must be used once every 30 washes - it removes scale and plaque. It is also worth keeping an eye on the filter, cleaning it from food debris as it gets dirty.
We recommend leaving the appliance half-open for several hours after each wash.
The machine does a poor job of cleansing
This myth is easy to refute by once checking the washed dishes - you will not find greasy deposits and pieces of food, and the surface will creak if you run your finger over it.
The fact is that the device uses hot steam and pressure, as well as special cleaning agents. They do their job perfectly. Most clippers can easily remove dried or burnt food.
Not for large dishes
This is not the case: even small machines can hold pots, pans and large dishes.There are models that are specifically designed for cleaning baking sheets, but you can also squeeze a couple of containers into a small-sized device by removing the top tray.
Doesn't fit into the interior
Visually, the most advantageous are partially or fully built-in models that look great even in a classic style. The same facades are made for them as for the headset.
But even a freestanding machine looks presentable if it resonates with furniture (white with white cabinets) or appliances (chrome with a sink, mixer or refrigerator).
Too noisy
If you are accustomed to the sounds made by the washing machine - the "record holder" among noisy household appliances - then the hum of the dishwasher will not annoy you. But in order not to risk your peace, pay attention to the noise level immediately at the purchase stage: the data is indicated in the technical passport of the device and is indicated by decibels (dB).
The quietest cars produce a noise of 39–43 dB, which can be compared to a quiet conversation.
Full load required
Some are convinced that it is possible to start the device only by accumulating a "mountain of dishes". But modern machines can save about 20% of water when the "half load" function is on, so there is no need to wait for filling.
There is also a quick wash mode, when the device copes with a small amount of not particularly dirty dishes in just half an hour.
It is difficult to meet a person who regretted purchasing a dishwasher: it saves time and energy, making the kitchen tidy and the owner happy.
