Use a top-loading clipper
Takes up one third less spacethan the usual front-type version, and will fit even in the most small bathroom... It can be installed close to the washbasin or shower stall, because the loading and unloading of linen takes place from the top.
Among the disadvantages - the inability to hang the wall cabinet from above and the high cost (compared to classic counterparts).
Put under the sink
An excellent solution for small bathrooms... For ease of use, its dimensions should be slightly larger than the machine's box on each side. The space required for the installation of the drainage system is minimal, 10-15 cm will be enough, so all family members can use the washbasin.
Details about such a solution were described in separate article.
In place of the bath (using the shower stall)
A compact shower cubicle will help free up additional space in the bathroom. This option suitable for those who prefer a 10-minute shower to an hour of relaxation in a bubble bath. The space along the wall, freed up after dismantling the bathtub, will accommodate a shower cabin, an automatic machine, and shelves above it.
Place under countertop
With this layout, the washing machine, washbasin and the end of the bath are located along one wall close to each other. Making good use of space will help table top, which will be located above the washing machine and under the sink.
You can also screw the hanging sink directly above the bathroom, but not everyone will like this option for organizing the space.
Put away in the closet
A practical way for a small space is to put a washing machine in the bottom section of a tall cabinet with shelves. And place household chemicals and towels on the shelves. This option is best for combined bathrooms.
Put on a curbstone or podium
Installation of a washing machine on a podium is a non-standard solution that provides new storage space both below and above. If it is not possible to install a podium, you can consider the curbstone - this is an immediately ready-made and beautiful solution. The only thing you need to guess is the size.
The main advantage is more convenient operation of the machine - do not have to bend over.
Attach to the wall
This is a rather rare option, but it exists and it may be right for you. This is explained by the high price of the machine itself and the complexity of installation. However, the machine is light enough and almost does not vibrate, so the likelihood that it will fall is low.
In a niche
In most Khrushchev houses, it is possible to make a small niche with the help of a ledge into the corridor. Later, this ledge will perfectly hide the built-in wardrobe or hallway. The niche will give the bathroom additional space above the washing machine. It can be used to accommodate a vertical cabinet or wall rack.
You can install a washing machine even in the smallest bathroom, but in most cases this will require a little redevelopment from the owners. The main condition is that the environment in the bathroom should be comfortable for all family members.
