Made of wood and foil
One of the easiest ways to make a greenhouse is to construct it with wooden planks and slats. Such a structure looks very neat and aesthetically pleasing: the boards harmoniously frame the beds, making the garden visually orderly.
Wood is an environmentally friendly material that looks appropriate in green spaces and is easy to work with.
The greenhouse can be in the shape of a trapezoid or triangle. The beds are covered with a film fixed on a wooden frame. With the help of a loose rail, the structure can be opened and closed at any time.
Single slope with lid
Greenhouses for seedlings will not only decorate the garden, but will also become excellent helpers in growing crops. The designs are compact, and the hinged cover is made of glass, polycarbonate or film: the transparent material helps to maintain the required temperature inside.
The materials at hand are also suitable for manufacturing: boards treated with protective compounds, window frames and doors with glass inserts that have served their time.
Semicircular and "bread bins"
One of the most popular types of greenhouses is a semi-cylinder with a lid. The structure should be as strong and reliable as possible, because everything that hangs over your head is potentially dangerous.
The most effective and functional are greenhouses, which, in their shape and lid lifting mechanism, resemble a container for storing bread.
In the form of a house
A greenhouse in the form of a small building will become a real decoration of the suburban area. It resembles a small greenhouse, it looks sophisticated and airy. You can enter such houses, but due to their modest size, they cannot be called full-fledged greenhouses.
Often, greenhouses are placed near a summer cottage or house, and are called wall-mounted.
Thanks to them, you can easily get the first spring harvest of greenery.
Geodesic dome
If you want to build an original greenhouse on your personal plot, consider building a geo-dome. Unlike rectangular structures, there is no need to orient the beds in relation to the cardinal points - the plantings will always be optimally illuminated.
The hardest part to make - correct calculations, and the cost of materials will come out small. You will need bars or metal pipes, as well as film or polycarbonate.
Pyramid
Greenhouses in the form of a triangular pyramid make it possible to place plants more rationally due to the originality of the design - for example, in several tiers. It is small in size, and in order to create moisture inside, it is enough to put a bucket of water in the center.
If desired, the hood can be made removable to ventilate the structure on a hot day.
In the form of a cabinet
Not the most practical option, since it is only suitable for growing small portions of the crop. But how beautiful such a glass cabinet looks as a temporary home for seedlings!
It is perfect for open sun veranda and will look great next to the facade of the house. Suitable in compact gardens, as it is equipped with shelves and meets the principle of vertical storage.
Beautiful greenhouses will significantly increase productivity and will be a wonderful addition to landscape.
