How to make big flowers on the wall?

Tools and materials:

• Corrugated paper: 7 rectangles 50x80 cm.
• 7 clothespins or stationery clips.
• Thin wire (found in florist shops).
• Sharp scissors.

Step-by-step instruction:

1. We take the first rectangle and bend a line about 4 cm wide.We turn the paper over and bend it again, pressing the edges with our fingers: in other words, we fold the sheet like an accordion. In this way, we twist all 7 cuts.
   

   

2. We fasten each workpiece with clothespins.
   

   

3. We lay out the future petals in a row. We cut them so that the diameter of each layer is about 4 cm less than the previous one.
   

   

4. Shape the petals. They can be made sharp or rounded.
   

   

5. We cut each workpiece approximately to the middle on both sides:
   

   

6. We remove the clothespins, straighten the sheets of corrugated paper and place them on top of each other. We put it in one big accordion.
   

   

7. We tie the future flower with wire.
   

   

   

8. Carefully form the petals, bending them up and straightening them layer by layer.
   

   

9. We continue to separate them from each other, giving the large flower volume.
   

   

10. In the process, the petals can be trimmed with scissors.

There are several ways to create a large flower on a stand. Let's consider one of them by making a delicate peony from corrugated paper. For the manufacture of the stem, metal-plastic pipes are most often used, which bend and keep their shape, as well as PVC pipes and cement.

Tools and materials:

• Corrugated paper pink and green (3 meters).
• Cardboard circle (any box will do).
• Reinforced plastic pipe (20-25 mm, sold in the plumbing department).
• Glue gun.
• Ruler.

Step-by-step instruction:

1. Let's get to work. We take 3 meters of paper and fold it in half along the long side. We measure a 6 cm segment from the edge, fold the paper in three layers:

3. We cut the "accordion" on both sides, giving it the shape of a petal.
   

   

4. Its size should be approximately 20x8 cm:
   

   

5. Using the same scheme, we cut out a strip 1 meter long:
   

   

6. We proceed to the second meter, but this time we increase the elements by 2 cm (22x10).
   

   

7. The third part should have petals measuring 24x12 cm.
   

   

8. We twist the ends of the blanks:
   

   

9. We straighten the paper and stretch it a little:
   

   

10. We make a circle of cardboard with a diameter of 30 cm. We glue it with corrugated paper.
    

    

11. Take a glue gun and fix the smallest part in the center of the circle. The petals must be glued one at a time.
    

    

12. We glue the other two parts in a circle, gradually building up and straightening the flower. To give it splendor, you can glue in additional petals.
    

    

13. Let's start making the stand. We bend the metal-plastic pipe so as to make the base stable. If necessary, we decorate it with green corrugated paper, fixing it around the pipe, or paint it.
    

    

14. We fix the cardboard circle to the top edge of the "stem":
    

    

15. Glue the barrel firmly to a large cardboard circle:
    

    

16. We decorate the base of the flower with corrugated paper.

DIY giant flowers - a simple master class

11. We collect the base and the bud, securing them in any convenient way, for example, with ties. The big flower is ready.
